Since BW Dance was formed and commenced operation in 2009, we have grown into the family friendly studio we are today through commitment of staying true to our core values.
With kind and nurturing teachers, we take pride in providing a fully inclusive dance experience for all students no matter their genre or skill level by offering classes in a range of levels and styles to suit students from age 2.5 years to adults.
BW Dance specialise in age appropriate dance training and safe dance routines by using correct technique, with a strong focus on RAD Ballet which teaches the foundation skills for dancers to excel at their chosen style.
Class styles include Classical Ballet (Royal Academy of Dance syllabus), Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Tap.
We also offer specialised ‘Little Dancers’ themed classes in Ballet and Jazz for ages 2.5 to 5 years to give little ones an enjoyable start to their dance journey. Parents are most welcome to attend these classes with their young dancers.
Dancers can choose to participate in just one or two classes each week or to take advantage of our weekly ‘Inclusive Fee’ that allows students to attend unlimited classes throughout the week.
Various performance opportunities are on offer to BW Dance students throughout the year and all students are given the chance to perform in the annual end of year BW Dance concert.
Students also have the opportunity to perform in dance eisteddfods and to take part in RAD Ballet exams, these are of particular interest to students who are keen to pursue dance at a professional level.
